The newest addition to our portfolio, the Hofbräu 3.3 Session Lager, just won a Silver Medal from the BTI, the Beverage Testing Institute . It scored 88 points (“Highly Recommended”) in the category “Reduced Calorie Lager”. Here’s the judges taste description:
“Light yellow straw color. Aromas and flavors of soft white bread, corn silk, lemon spritz, and toasty malt with a supple, vibrant, effervescent, dry light body and a smooth, snappy finish that shows suggestions of amaranth and salt. The crisp and balanced, easy-drinking light lager that quenches.”
The Session Lager is the 6th beer from Hofbräu München receiving a high rating and scoring a medal from the Beverage Testing Institute, which is an independent committee with professional testers judging according to international standards after official style definitions.
